Stephen E. Myers is a co-founder, majority shareholder, and Chairman of US Cable Group, which under Myers’ leadership, developed into one of the country’s largest privately owned cable companies. US Cable was founded by Myers in 1975 and sold in 2012. US Cable partners over the years have included TCI (Liberty Media/John Malone), AT&T as well as Comcast Corp. US Cable was in each case the majority partner in these assets. In 1991, US Cable formed its European counterpart, Comment Cablevision, which was successful in franchising over 1,100,000 homes in the United Kingdom. Comment Cable had successful partnerships in the UK with US West, Nynex, and Bell Canada.

In 1995, Myers acquired what would become Smart City Networks, L.P., which today is the nation’s leading Telecom and Internet provider to major convention centers ranging from Washington D.C. to California. Smart City serves 40 major convention centers throughout the United States. In addition, Smart City Telecom is the exclusive provider of telecom services to all of the Walt Disney World Resorts in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

In December 2013, Mr. Myers’ family, under the name of Myers Auto Group (MAG), acquired Jaguar Palm Beach, Land Rover Palm Beach, Aston Martin Palm Beach and McLaren Palm Beach. In three short years, under the leadership of the Myers’, earnings have increased by 50%. MAG is currently developing two new Jaguar Land Rover franchises and continues to actively pursue additional acquisitions, primarily focused on the East Coast.

Mr. Myers, an avid outdoorsman, is the developer and founding member of Pine Creek Sporting Club in Okeechobee, Florida, and owner of the world-renowned Silver Hilton Steelhead Lodge in British Columbia.

Myers received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from St. Louis University and was recently elected to the Smurfit-Stone Entrepreneurial Alumni Hall of Fame. He is active in the Cable Entrepreneurs Club, a member of the Cable TV Pioneer Club and is an active board member of the Palm Beach Zoo.
